Process of Video Production

Video production companies basically produce video content for various purposes – be it official or personal. It is almost like a film making process, but in this process the images are plotted digitally instead of being recorded on a film stock. In this video production method, there are three important processes, which one needs to keep in mind. Those are pre-production, production and post production.

In the pre-production phase, all types of planning and making a plot is included before actually starting to make the video. This is basically a preparation period which one gets to get ready for the final move. The things which are actually included in this are scheduling, script writing, logistics and other administrative duties which one needs to complete.

Now let’s move on to the production phase; this is a phase in which actual filming and making a video is involved. This is the actual process for which the whole preparation was done, if this is done successfully which means that half of the work is done perfectly.

Then comes last, but the very important part of this whole process, that is post production part. In this part, one needs to selectively combine those video clips with the help of video editing so that one can get the complete finish and final product in the end.

Types of videos

There are several different types of Video Production. The most popular and the common version is TV production, commercials, corporate videos, marketing videos, event videos, wedding videos, product videos. These are all different types of videos which are made and displayed on all different channels. This term of video production is reserved only for content creation which is taken through all phases of production and they are created by keeping a specific target audience in mind all together. And any of the video which one makes in their personal functions or festivals are called as the home video they do not come under the video production at all.

Production scale
In this process production scale is completely defined by the size of the crew which one is having, and absolutely not by the location on which they are going to make the video. Basically the quality of any project will depend on the number of crew or the crew size which is involved in that very process, and this does not set the limit of what type of content should be or will be recorder by any chance.
